    Time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM CDT
    Event Description:

The monarch butterfly is one of our most recognizable and beloved insects. In addition to its striking appearance, the monarch undergoes a remarkable seasonal migration to and from central Mexico. Sadly, the monarch is in decline.

This talk will be presented by UW Emeritus Professor and Entomologist Dave Hogg. His lecture will cover monarch natural history, explore the reasons for monarch population decline, and discuss conservation efforts, including what you can do to help save this iconic butterfly.
