    Kay Kriewald from UW Space Place will be here to present "The Great American Eclipse"

    On August 21, the United States will experience a total eclipse of the sun for the first time in almost 40 years.  Learn why we have eclipses, what we can expect from this one, and how you can safely view it.

    This event is for all ages.  Free eclipse glasses will be available on a first come first serve basis.

    Eclipse Shades® are provided thorugh STAR_Net Libraries.  The 2017 Solar Eclipse project is funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation through Grant GBMF5373 to the Space Science Institute.  Google has provided additional funding.
