Waun-A-Cure is a twist on the American Cancer Society's signature event: The Relay for Life. Relay For Life is a fun-filled event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. Relay Tickets are available to purchase for the chances to win great prize packages!
Lions Club Food tent 6-8pm
DJ from 6 to 11pm

9pm Luminaria Ceremony
Waun-A-Cure will take place at Ripp Park on Friday, June 21, from 6 p.m. till midnight. Join the community in celebrating our hometown survivors and remembering those who have lost their battle to cancer. Opening Ceremony begins at 7:00 pm with the raising of the flag and welcomes.
Come hear our Honorary Chairpersons, Cindy Patzner & Ken Penfield, tell their stories around 7 p.m. and walk the track to honor cancer survivors and those who lost their battle. The Survivor's Lap will follow and continue with the Caregiver's Lap & Family/Team Lap.
The Luminaria Ceremony begins at dusk and experience the track lined with all the dedicated luminarias to honor our loved ones and in remembrance of those we have lost. The Waunakee Lions Club will serve burgers, brats, and hot dogs from 6-8pm.
